The Jets are about to embark on a new era of legacy. Chairman Woody Johnson said in a social media post earlier this evening that the team will reveal new jerseys in April, which is news supporters have been eager to hear. Johnson stated in the article that the 2023-debuting Legacy White outfit will be made permanent along with the addition of green and black iterations. The team’s identity has developed throughout time in tandem with the NFL Uniform regulations. The Jets unveiled a Stealth Black helmet in 2022 to go with the alternate black suit that fans adored and debuted in 2019. At the NFL League Meetings in Arizona in March of last year, it was merely a coincidence. While strolling around talking business with Jets general manager Joe Douglas, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter ran into Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst. “The three of us, and I thought, ‘Wow, this is interesting,'” Schefter said to newyorkjets.com’s Eric Allen.
