The third-seeded NC State Lady Vols basketball team will play the Tennessee Lady Vols in Raleigh on Monday in the second round of the NCAA Women’s Tournament. With a strong team effort on Saturday, the Lady Vols (20-12) defeated Green Bay by a score of 29 points to advance to the second round. Defeating Chattanooga 64-45, NC State (28-6) advanced to the second round.
The winner moves onto the Sweet 16 and will play next on Friday in Portland, Oregon.
