Jayson Tatum has been performing at his best for the Boston Celtics consistently over the years. The NBA all-star has seemingly scored in his love life as well and the rumored dating couple, Tatum and Ella Mai, were spotted at Marcus Smart’s wedding in California.
Whilst many known teammates of Marcus also attended his wedding, it was the Jay-Ella couple that stole the spotlight. The 4-time NBA all-star was spotted a few times with the British R&B singer and while the official announcement is still yet to be confirmed, the pair continue to dazzle out of their profession.
Ella started her career in 2014 at the British and Modern Irish Modern Music Institute in London. It was also during that time that she went through the audition process for The X Factor’s eleventh season. She put out three EPs between 2016 and 2018, “Time, Change, and Ready.”
As Mai matured in the music business, she was nominated three times for the 62nd Grammy Awards, including Best R&B Album in 2020. Ella cited well-known figures like Chris Brown, Alicia Keys, and Mariah Carey as sources of inspiration and discussed how they influenced the way she approached music fans and the sound of her songs.
Their friendship has seemingly grown even more after their split from teams and Jayson was seen at Smart’s wedding with a “special” guest. He brought his partner Ella Mai with him, joined by a host of notable figures and friends.
While the internet had a field trip with their images, the couple is yet to go public with their relationship. Like many celebrities, they have chosen to keep their love life away from the modern era of social media exposure and media scrutiny. While Jayson Tatum and Ella Mai keep their love side private from the public eye, they continue to lead their lives happily on a professional and personal level.
