In an accidental way, former running back Arian Foster supported football fans who think the NFL is rooting for their team in the most recent episode of his talk show on Barstool Sports. After last Sunday’s controversial AFC Championship Game, there have been many accusations of rigged NFL games. The former star player for the Houston Texans played into this notion by jokingly saying that each player in the league receives a script at the beginning of training camp that determines the outcome of the season.
While Foster was obviously joking, the internet’s most gullible ran with the idea, prompting NFL players past and present to bring sanity back to the picture. Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon, whose team was subjected to several heartbreaking defeats this season, perhaps killed the idea’s authenticity once and for all with one fateful question.
