RECURRING SAD NEWS: Another injury concern for Lakers …

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Sacramento Kings by a score of 36 points on Tuesday night, sending a message to the rest of the NBA. If you’re a Mavs fan, you have a lot to cheer about from this game, since it was one of the finest wins of the year.

Role players made their shots, Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving displayed their strong relationship, and their low post defence against Domantas Sabonis was superb.

In this game, the Mavericks looked like a squad that could defeat any club in the Western Conference, and they will get another opportunity to defeat the Kings tomorrow.

LeBron James of the Lakers explains why the Mavericks are currently unstoppable.

Given how close the playoff race is and how the Mavs have established themselves as a legitimate contender, these two games versus the Kings rank among the most significant ones on the schedule.

Superstar LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is one player who appears to have high expectations for the Mavs as the rest of the league begins to pay notice. James and JJ Redick discussed the reasons why the Mavs are so difficult to defeat in their latest podcast, “Mind the Game Pod”.

James said that Doncic and Irving are always going to do their thing, but said “when Tim Hardaway (Jr.) is hitting six or seven threes, you’re done.” He also talked about Dante Exum’s shooting in particular, as he knocked down seven 3-pointers and dropped 26 points against the Lakers earlier in the season.

James’ take on the Mavs is absolutely right, and Tuesday night showed why. Luka and Kyrie dominated during different parts of the game, but the 3-point shooting of Hardaway Jr. and P.J. Washington took this team over the top. Both players knocked down four 3-pointers while Exum and Derrick Jones Jr. also knocked down two threes apiece.

Dallas is unstoppable when their role players are knocking down shots, and if they can keep this up, they will be extremely hard to beat. The Mavs are playing like they won’t have to play in the Play-In Tournament next month, but if they end up having to play in it, LeBron and the Lakers are a team that they need to watch out for.

For all the latest on Luka Doncic, Tim Hardaway Jr., and the Dallas Mavericks for the rest of the regular season and the playoffs, stay tuned.
