BREAKING NEWS: After a very long awaited time the giant have Welcome’s New Player Today……

The seasoned backup was discovered by the New York Giants.

According to people with knowledge of the situation, Big Blue has signed quarterback Drew Lock to a one-year, $5 million contract, as reported by NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo, and Tom Pelissero on Tuesday. Pelissero claims that $4.95 million in guaranteed funds are included in the deal.

After Tyrod Taylor left the Giants to join the Jets, the team was looking for a more seasoned backup quarterback to replace Daniel Jones. Russell Wilson, who signed with Pittsburgh, also had a meeting with Big Blue.

Lock, a former Denver second-round selection, never worked out in the Mile High City, finishing 59.3% of his throws in 24 games over three years with the Broncos, with 25 touchdowns and 20 interceptions. He was sent to Seattle in 2022 as a part of the Wilson trade.

Last season, the 27-year-old was finally able to demonstrate his progress as he filled in for an ailing Geno Smith in two games, including a thrilling victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15. Lock completed 63.2% of 76 attempts for 543 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions in four appearances in 2023. Although his ability to analyse defences and manage the offence had improved since his Denver days, he still made more unintentional mistakes than you want from

Adding Lock fortifies the position for Brian Daboll but won’t quiet questions about whether the Giants could go quarterback with the No. 6 overall pick in next month’s NFL Draft.

Regarding talks with Chase, Bengals Executive Vice President Katie Blackburn recently stated, via the Cincinnati Enquirer, “We haven’t started.” “Putting some of those things together to think about and give it some attention is sort of the next step. As previously stated, I am unable to predict where any of it will end up. However, we’re going to research it and see what we can learn in order to try and find a solution that would work best for the club.
