WR JuJu Smith-Schuster wasn’t signed by the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2021 NFL free agency period, but they didn’t give up on him.

 

Smith-Schuster claims that Andy Reid, the head coach of the Chiefs, made a lot of effort to get him to join the team. Smith-Schuster says he would have signed with the Chiefs if he hadn’t chosen to re-sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the most recent episode of The Michael Irvin Podcast. Additionally, he divulges the strategy Reid employed in free agency to attempt and convince him to sign with Kansas City.

Schuster stated of the team he would have signed with if not the Steelers, “It would have been KC.” “Seeing KC, Andy Reid was like,

Well, this method didn’t exactly work out the way that Reid had hoped it would. At the end of the day, Smith-Schuster said that re-signing with Pittsburgh was the best situation for him on a one-year deal. If Kansas City could have offered him a multi-year contract, perhaps they could have lured him away from his old team. Who knows, maybe there will be a different result when Smith-Schuster becomes a free agent again in 2022.

Ilia Malinin, a teenage girl from Virginia whose previously unthinkable repertoire of quadruple jumps has captured the attention of the figure skating community for the past two years, wrapped up his incredible ascent to the top of the sport on Saturday night by taking home his first world championship.

 

The 19-year-old American prodigy made history by becoming the second skater to land six quadruple jumps in a single programme. He was also the first to do so with a quad axel, a four and a half revolution jump that had never been landed in competition until Malinin, then 17 years old, accomplished it at the 2022 US Classic. The skater performed his free skate to an electrifying medley of songs from the television series Succession.
