Spring practice for Georgia Football is currently in its second week. As Kirby Smart addressed the media on Tuesday afternoon, the Dawgs had only three sessions under their belt; but, this Saturday will mark their first scrimmage.

 

Just a friendly reminder to visit the blog on Saturday for updates and scrimmage-related remarks. This blogger will make every effort to obtain firsthand information about the events of the scrimmage; even if it means standing outside Sanford Stadium to watch it, I will! (Kirby, that is not a threat.)

 

Speaking of Kirby Smart, he held a press conference on Monday and declared his excitement for the Georgia Football team of 2024. According to Smart, the general sentiment

Whether through transfers or incoming freshmen, the Dawgs have new faces on nearly 33 percent of their roster. When addressing the media, Smart and his players have repeated the new catchphrase, “Get better mindset.” According to Smart, the team’s youth and inexperience call for that kind of thinking. There is a lot to work on and fix, so Smart also doesn’t want to overload the newer and younger individuals on the team.

 

Regarding the new motto, Smart was questioned about the one he presented on Monday at the Macon Touchdown Club. “Assume nothing,” Smart declared when giving a speech to the Macon Touchdown Club. Phil Knight, the founder of Nike, reportedly gave Smart some assistance in coming up with that idea. As smart stated

Smart once said that you have to study successful individuals and companies in order to be successful. I would have loved to share with you, Dawn of the Dawg’s esteemed readers, the significance of the “Assume Nothing” maxim; however, the Macon Touchdown Club has requested that the individual who often uploads Smart’s talks to their YouTube channel remove their videos. which, whatever, is absurd. I will fight that war offline.
