Jordan Love was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. At the time, Aaron Rodgers was still under contract for the foreseeable future, so this decision came with a lot of scrutiny.

The next two years saw Rodgers win back-to-back MVP awards (some believe it was motivation because of that draft pick). However, following the 2022 season it was time for both sides to go their separate ways.

Love had the opportunity to prove to Packers fans and the rest of the NFL that taking him early was not a mistake.

Going into next season, Jordan Love is clearly a leader and someone the team looks up to. That’s why when he made a statement about star cornerback Jaire Alexander, fans noticed.

Alexander missed three games this season due to a back ailment, six because of a shoulder injury, and one because of a suspension for declaring himself the team captain before the club’s December 24 coin toss against the Carolina Panthers.
