Former Georgia football 2025 commit Tae Harris has announced his commitment to the Clemson Tigers. After decommitting from the Georgia Bulldogs back in January 2025 defensive back Tae Harris has announced his commitment to Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers. Harris is rated as a four-star prospect, a top 15 safety in the class and a top 200 prospect in the nation, according to 247 sports composite rankings. The Bulldogs currently have five total commits in the 2025 class and Harris was the lone defensive back in the class at the time. The class is far from over from wrapping up but it is certainly starting to formulate and form a clearer outlook. Georgia often locks down the state when it comes to players like Harris, but on this instance, it looks like they are going to lose the in-state prospect unless something changes before signing day.
2024 NFL Draft, and he has the potential to impact the game wherever he ends up.
The issue is that tight ends are difficult positions to choose highly in the draft from a value standpoint, and Bowers’s recent injury issues could make some teams doubt if he is worth a top-15 to top-20 pick.
Indeed, he is talented, but this past season he missed three games for UGA due to a high-ankle sprain that occurred in 2023. Due to a hamstring injury, Bowers was unable to participate in Georgia’s recent pro day or the 2024 NFL Combine.
But the gifted tight end doesn’t appear to be worried. He even recently assured the media that his most recent injury is minor.
The New Orleans Saints have put little emphasis on tight ends recently. Juwan Johnson has shown that he can be a matchup weapon, but he’s a converted wideout with limitations as a blocker and issues getting off the line in traditional sets. Foster Moreau is more of a traditional in-line tight end, but is used little as a receiving target.
