BREAKING NEWS:Mike Tomlin have just signed a 3 years contract that worth 8.190millions with the eagle to trade…..

After the Pittsburgh Steelers’ season-ending loss to the Buffalo Bills, head coach Mike Tomlin acknowledges that he should have handled a question on his contract status a little better.

The 51-year-old Tomlin abruptly halted his availability on Monday and departed the dais when ESPN’s Brooke Pryor started inquiring about the terms of his deal. Tomlin’s contract expires after the 2024 campaign.

Tomlin acknowledged that his response was inappropriate during Thursday’s end-of-season availability, but he insists that the question had nothing to do with the team’s 31-17 AFC wild-card round loss.

“I could have handled that situation better than I did,” stated Tomlin. “I believe there’s a time and place for everything and postgame press conferences aren’t the time and place to address contract issues.”

What is necessary to do what

For the Steelers and Head Coach Mike Tomlin, the season has been interesting, and there is still talk about his future.

Tomlin, who is in his 17th season, is the head coach with the longest career in the NFL and has never had a losing campaign. Even if Pittsburgh won its final three games to qualify for the playoffs, there is still talk that Tomlin might not play in 2024.

The Steelers want to extend Tomlin’s contract, according to a Pro Football Talk story. However, he hasn’t made a decision yet and want to speak with his family following the season. Tomlin’s current contract is still in effect for another year, and he has never signed an extension before the end of a contract.
