VERY BAD: matt lafleur have just break up with is beloved wife today due to…

A bit of an “LaFleur” family reunion will take place when Matt LaFleur’s Packers take on the Jets. His brother Mike is New York’s offensive coordinator while their head coach Robert Saleh has been his best friend since the two coached together at Central Michigan. Although it adds some extra emotion, at the end of the day it’s not what’s really important. Fox 11’s Cody Krupp has more.

We head Packers safety Darnell Savage say it, it has felt like a very long week. The Packers cannot wait to run out the tunnel at Lambeau Field and put behind them what happened this past Sunday in London.

“I expect that typical stretch coming up where we get really hot. I think that’s right around the corner, real close to getting this thing going and hopefully it starts this week,” Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said.

That’s the biggest reason Sunday’s game against the NY Jets is important but for head coach Matt LaFleur a little extra important because of who he is looking over and seeing on the other sidelines.

“Look he’s going against his brother and his best friend, this game for sure means more to him,” Rodgers said.

“Ultimately you hate beating up on your buddy in this league but it is what it is. On a typical week specifically with my brother I probably talk to him almost everyday. Not talking quite as much this week,” said Packers head coach LaFleur.

“A lot of times we are not even talking about football, usually on Monday’s we do as he critiques my play calling or you should have done this more and it’s all constructive criticism,” Mike LaFleur said, NY Jets OC.

“I am not going to give him any pointers the week that we are playing each other either,” Matt added.

“That’s what kind of stunk about Monday is we didn’t’ do that but we definitely get to do that Monday and every week after that,” said Mike.
