He gave off a poor impression, so their first meeting was an unusual one. Matt yelled at her as she insisted she was performing some kind of practice. Even though Matt claims he doesn’t recall the event, they soon started dating after falling in love.

Matt LaFleur, the next head coach of the Green Bay Packers, is married to BreAnne LaFleur. Along with their spouse, the couple has two sons: Luke, age six, and Ty, age four.

LaFleur has been the Tennessee Titans’ offensive coordinator for the past two seasons. It appears that he will be moving to the Wisconsin area with his family in order to take on a major position with the Packers.

The Tennessean reports that at 39 years old, Matt LaFleur is currently the third-youngest NFL coach. Reporter Andrew Siciliano notes that LaFleur became emotional discussing his family during his first press conference as the Packers’ head coach on January 9, stating that his wife was the “rock” of the family.

According to another reporter, Kalyn Kahler, LaFleur’s youngest son then became choked up himself, crying after his dad began to get emotional.

According to The Tennessean, BreAnne LaFleur had a job selling pharmaceuticals in Ohio in 2007, when her husband was offered a job coaching at Northern Michigan. She quit her job and they moved to pursue his coaching aspirations, the publication reports.

BreAnne’s Facebook reveals that she attended Marcellus High School in Marcellus, Michigan. It also reflects a few of the places where she and her husband have moved to, including Houston, Texas, Ashland, Ohio, and Marquette, Michigan.

To MLive in 2010, BreAnne shared her experience about the effort of moving for Matt’s Washington Redskins job.  “There’s a lot of work to do. I have a career (as a pharmaceutical representative), where there aren’t a ton of jobs available. Hopefully I can find a position where I can transfer. Then we have to get a moving company… It’ll be one of the easier moves we’ve made since I won’t have to do everything.”
