Matt LaFleur have just failed his 3 years contract that worth about $16.100millions…..

Regardless of the why, something is clearly wrong with the Packers.

Whether it’s Rodgers, LaFleur, the youth or some combination of all three, the current trajectory of a team with Super Bowl aspirations is trending down. Green Bay is already double-digit betting underdogs against the Buffalo Bills in Week 8 – a first for Rodgers.

And it’s hard to tell who can fix everything. Rodgers’ offensive simplification suggestion two weeks ago was either ignored by the coaching staff or failed miserably. Both Rodgers and LaFleur have preached accountability throughout the team, but at what point is that not enough?

It appeared as though LaFleur had the Midas touch with a 39-10 regular season record, three straight NFC North titles and first-round byes, and two trips to the NFC Championship. He never dropped back-to-back regular season games, and he had one of the best brotherhoods in the NFL with MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers. LaFleur seemed to know the solution to whatever was bothering his squad.

It seems as though Green Bay’s coach may have ran out of options six games into the 2022 campaign.

LaFleur has dropped games in a row during a regular season for the first time in his career. Even if the run was bound to stop eventually, there is reason for concern in the way the Packers lost these last two weeks. The issue hasn’t so much been one of scheme.

The Green Bay offence was unable to convert a third down to save their lives, while the run defence was unable to stop anyone. The Giants roared back to take a 27-20 lead, but the Packers were pressing for the game-winning touchdown. They couldn’t possibly let this one get away, could they?

It’s true that they let that one get away.

An enraged goal-line sequence featuring three consecutive passes sent the ball back to the Giants, and that was pretty much it. The Packers did have a chance to win the game with a Hail Mary, but it was unsuccessful before Aaron Rodgers could try to perform any kind of magic.
