TRAGIOUS NEWS: The head coach of the Baltimore Ravens has just gotten some really harsh news from…..

Derrick Henry, even if he is just another Odell Beckham Jr., does not mean the Baltimore Ravens won the offseason.

Ben Maller of Fox Sports Radio thinks that. He criticised the Ravens for giving a running back “whose best days are in the rearview mirror” a $16 million, two-year contract.

Instead of being the last piece of a Super Bowl puzzle for the Ravens, Maller is convinced acquiring Henry “has the vibes of Odell Beckham. Remember last year? The Ravens won the offseason last year because they got Odell Beckham? I remember that. I’m old enough to remember that. Odell Beckham 2.0, Derrick Henry. Prove me wrong, prove me wrong!”

For Henry, the analogy to Beckham is not favourable. OBJ agreed to a $15 million one-year contract in 2023, but the veteran receiver’s lacklustre play has the Ravens cutting ties with him early.

The same reasons to have doubts about Henry apply to Beckham’s problems—he is over thirty and has had a great bit of wear and tear in the pros. Henry still has a lot to prove to prove that he is the same explosive force that led the Tennessee Titans to four Pro Bowls, but the All-Pro running back has already warned his detractors.

Henry should begin by persuading others who suspect him that he hasn’t been fatigued by excessive carrying and hits.

Maller described Henry as having the appearance of a “cherry red Lamborghini that just pops.” Maller claims that the issue arises when you notice that the vehicle has 300,000 miles on it after looking at the odometer. Three hundred thousand miles! This is basically what’s happening to Derrick Henry.

Though “Gridiron Gals” co-host Reeta Hubbard told 105.7 The Fan’s Inside Access that Henry’s excessive usage over his career is a “relevant concern,” she added, “What we’re not going to do is act like older models with 150,000 miles on them are all bad.” Some models can still function perfectly, and Derrick Henry may be one of such models.
