Developer Electronic Arts has begun to divulge information about its impending comeback to college football. Although the complete release of EA Sports College Football 25 is still a ways off, the company has now disclosed the basic price plan for athlete likenesses. Each participant who chooses to participate will receive a copy of the game and $600, but top players may receive even larger payouts through NIL deals. With more than 10,000 people having signed up for EA Sports College Football 25, the game developer is almost at its target of having 85 participants for each squad. But at least one prominent player appears to be missing this year’s edition; according to insiders, Texas quarterback Arch Manning will not be playing in College Football 25.

“Nick Saban is a singular, iconic presence in college football. He is also an extremely gifted communicator, who will immediately add even more credibility, authority and entertainment value to ESPN, including our esteemed College GameDay show,” ESPN chairman Jimmy Pitaro said.

Running back Bijan Robinson of the Atlanta Falcons, formerly of the Texas Longhorns, had an outstanding rookie campaign.

But that wasn’t enough to win him the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year title following the season; Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud won it on Thursday night.
