DONE DEAL : finally a key awaited legend is now signed and approved to play in…..

This season, Juan Thornhill will not be recruiting on social media for the Cleveland Browns as a free agent.

Since joining the Browns last season, Thornhill has been loud on social media. Thornhill reached out to some of his former teammates on X (previously Twitter) shortly after signing a three-year, $21 million contract with Cleveland, making his best recruiting pitch. Among them were defensive tackle Chris Jones, wide receiver Mecole Hardman, and running back Jerick McKinnon.

But according to Thornhill, none of that will take place this season. On Monday, March 11, when free agency began, he made it obvious where he stood.

“And nope. I’m not hiring at this time. In a since-deleted tweet, Thornhill added, “You guys told me I talk too much, so let me be quiet and focus on getting my body right for the season.”

Thornhill addressed the criticism shortly after removing the comment, stating, “Sensitive a**es can’t take a joke.”

In the first round of free agency, the Browns made no major splashes. They did, however, bring back two of their own, Maurice Hurst and Za’Darius Smith. Later in the day, linebacker Jordan Hicks, who has five straight seasons with 100 tackles, and Cleveland came to an agreement.

It wasn’t Thornhill’s first season with the Browns that went as expected. Because of a persistent calf ailment, he only appeared in 11 games.

One of the most annoying football seasons I’ve ever had!” X saw a post from Thornhill on January 14. “Trying to play through injuries the entire season and not being able to provide the best performance I could for the City.” Although we didn’t get the outcome we had hoped for, Cleveland We’re coming back!

Thornhill persevered despite the injuries, but it was difficult for him to continue playing. The Browns’ devastation at safety position due to injuries didn’t help either. Both Grant Delpit and seasoned player Rodney McLeod concluded the season on injured reserve.

“I returned too quickly,” Thornhill remarked. Since it was a grade two strain, it will take a month or a month and a half for it to heal completely.
