Every year, the NFL Scouting Combine prompts a number of draft gurus to release some updated estimates for the first round of the draft.
After the Combine is over, Dane Brugler of The Athletic is the most recent analyst to present a fresh mock draft. Brugler changed his prediction for the No. 6 pick to LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers, even though he still thinks the Giants will address the wide receiver situation in the first round.
“General manager Joe Schoen won’t be able to hide his smile if Nabers is still available at No. 6,” Brugler said. “This offence desperately needs a real X receiver who can alter defences’ game plans, regardless of the quarterback for the Giants. That is Nabers, and more.”
For the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, over 300 of the best prospects in the nation will be gathering in Indianapolis along with all 32 NFL teams.
The NFL offseason is getting hotter as we approach the start of free agency in less than two weeks and the draft in less than two months.
In his most recent mock draft prediction for the first round, NFL Network’s Bucky Brooks switched his decision for the Giants at No. 6 to LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers.

In 2023, Nabers completed his second straight season with 1,000 yards, ending
Colin Cowherd made a daring statement on Thursday’s episode of “The Herd with Colin Cowherd,” an FS1 programme, regarding the alleged perception of quarterback Daniel Jones by New York Giants co-owner John Mara.
The Giants, according to Reice Shipley of Awful Announcing, are the second-biggest “mess” in the NFL, only surpassed by the Carolina Panthers. This is partly because head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen “privately don’t want” a quarterback for Big Blue.
