SAD NEWS: Carson Beck just confirmed to be d…

Carson Beck, the quarterback for Georgia, hasn’t had the best reception from the fan base for whatever reason. Maybe his effort in Georgia’s 27-20 victory over Auburn in the second half will change that.

Beck has completed 72.7 percent of his throws for 1,497 yards through five games. Both his completion percentage and total throwing yards rank 16th and 8th in the country, respectively.

In the Bulldogs’ victory over Auburn, Beck found Brock Bowers for a 40-yard touchdown to cap off a game-winning touchdown drive for Georgia.

This season, Georgia’s passing game hasn’t presented any problems. Anthony Dasher stated that Georgia might want to run the offence through Beck more than it has been doing thus far because the run game is still having problems.

Dasher said, “Beck was 16 of 20 for 236 yards and the 40-yard touchdown to Bowers over the final two quarters of the second half.” This followed a first half in which he managed just seven of thirteen completions for 77 yards. That is not something we can accomplish. Although we still need to be able to run the ball, I’m proud of the lads’ fighting style.
