Pittsburgh The Pittsburgh Steelers may be considering possibilities in the middle to late stages of the NFL Draft, even though they didn’t perform much quarterback scouting at the NFL Combine.
During the season, the team fieldes three quarterbacks, and general manager Omar Khan has stated that they intend to do the same this year. They have expressed interest in re-signing Mason Rudolph thus far, and they have scheduled a meeting with Russell Wilson, a free agent.
But the team may consider the NFL Draft if neither, or just one, pans out. Jordan Travis of Florida State is one player whose name has been mentioned as a potential mid-round selection.
Travis sustained an ankle injury that kept him out of the 2023 season.
At Florida State, Travis concluded his career with 8,715 yards and 66 touchdowns. His projected draft position is somewhere between the third and fifth rounds, making him a mid-round selection.
Pittsburgh might be interested, depending on their draft board, and the Steelers might see this as a chance to start developing another young quarterback in front of the NFL Draft, as there will be a full clearing by then.

In 2023, he was once more replaced by Pickett after the former first-round selection suffered an ankle injury, although
