In September 2022, Castore initially agreed to a relationship with Red Bull, adding to its previous agreement with the McLaren Formula One team. The company will still provide Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez of the Red Bull team, as well as Emely De Heus, Amna Al-Qubaisi, and Hamda Al-Qubaisi of the F1 Academy, who are backed by Red Bull.
The most recent agreement comes after Castore held an investment round in November 2023 that brought in UK£145 million (US$184 million) and roughly UK£1 billion (US$1.3 billion).
Remark: “We knew we had found a partner whose dedication to innovation and advanced engineering matched our own, and we have faith in Castore to deliver performance, right from the beginning of our collaboration with them last year.
Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner stated, “We knew from the beginning of our partnership with Castore last year that we had found a partner whose commitment to innovation and advanced engineering matched our own. Our trust in them to deliver performance improvement has only increased over the past 12 months and has led to this record-breaking new agreement.”
We’re also happy that Castore has continued to support the team through our involvement in F1 Academy. It’s an innovative concept as well, and it’s a big plus that Castore will be supporting our drivers in that series.
