With fresh sponsorship and a new design, the Formula One grid is ready to take on the 2024 season.
In an unusual multi-year deal, Visa and Red Bull F1 Teams will become the first global partners of both teams. Visa Cash App RB, formerly known as Scuderia AlphaTauri, will introduce a new look team to the F1 grid.
The agreement, which is Visa’s first significant international sports sponsorship in over 15 years, covers the Oracle Red Bull Racing team, the F1 Academy team entry, and the Visa Cash App RB team. Visa Cash App Reserved When the F1 2024 racing season begins in Bahrain on February 29, drivers Yuki Tsunoda of Japan and Daniel Ricciardo of Australia will be wearing a specially created driver’s kit and car livery inspired by the Visa and Cash App. On February 8, there will be a special event in Las Vegas where the entire livery will be unveiled.
In addition to the significant branding potential offered by Visa Cash App RB, the two businesses are dedicated to helping the team reach new heights on the racecourse and giving cardholders access to team events such as driver meet and greets, merchandise and special hospitality at races.
Visa has long been committed to women’s empowerment and economic advancement through sponsorship platforms. Furthering that commitment, Visa and Cash App will join Red Bull to champion Visa Cash App RB in the F1 Academy series. The all female driving series takes place at seven select F1 tracks over the same weekend as the F1 races. This livery will also be unveiled during February’s special event.
