NEWS NOW: the georgia bulldogs have just set a contract of championship today which is worth about $3.3000millions….

As they prepare for spring practice in 2024, the Georgia Bulldogs welcome back a number of starters and important players on both sides of the field. However, with RB Dajun Edwards and RB Kendall Milton gone, they do lose a total of 27 running touchdowns.

The Bulldogs also lose TE Brock Bowers and wide receiver Ladd McConkey, two extremely dependable and productive targets for quarterback Carson Beck to pass to. Head coach Kirby Smart selected many similarly skilled replacements—three of whom will have an instant impact—from the transfer portal to address these problems.

Having played in 24 collegiate games, Trevor Etienne is the expected starting wide receiver for the spring. Etienne has amassed 1,472 running yards, 14 touchdowns, and an average of nearly six yards per carry in his final two seasons in Gainesville.

In 2023, he set a season record when he ran for 172 yards and a touchdown in a Gators victory over the 17th-ranked Volunteers in Tennessee. Etienne scored three running touchdowns in a losing effort against the Jayden Daniels-led Tigers at Death Valley against LSU.

Colbie Young led the Hurricanes in receiving touchdowns with five in 2023 and ranked third on the team in receiving yards (563 yards on 47 receptions).

Key returnees Dominic Lovett (54 catches, 613 yards, four touchdowns), Dillon Bell (29 catches, 355 yards, two touchdowns), and RaRa Thomas (23 catches, 383 yards, one touchdown) will compete with Young for playing time and Young’s depth. The Bulldogs’ offensive position group at wide receiver is arguably the strongest.

Landon Humphreys caught 22 receptions for 439 yards and four touchdowns as a true freshman in 2023, good for second place on the Commodores roster. Humphreys received more over 100 yards in two different games:

Twelve Georgia players were selected in the NFL Draft, while eighteen players used the transfer portal. The Bulldogs are 25th in 2024 returning offensive production and 80th in returning defensive production, according to ESPN’s Bill Connelly. The team’s overall national rating in total production for this season is 47th. The addition of Etienne, Young, and Humphreys will undoubtedly lessen the blow of those offensive personnel losses, and the Bulldogs will once more be in the running for the postseason.
