As new claims surfaced in a shocking 19-page inquiry that identifies his accuser, Christian Horner is dealing with further turbulence today. Video has surfaced showing the embattled F1 manager getting into a heated argument with his rival, Max Verstappen.

Last Wednesday, screenshots of texts that were purportedly exchanged between Geri Halliwell and her colleague at Red Bull were leaked through an anonymous email. Afterward, Geri Halliwell’s husband was cleared of any “coercive behaviour.”

However, the lengthy study into the case published by trade newspaper BusinessF1 Magazine has impeded Horner’s efforts to get past the issue.

The article makes a series of new allegations against Horner, names the female member of staff he is alleged to have texted and documents the power struggle at the top of Red Bull.

Sources close to Horner have dismissed the piece as ‘full of inaccuracies’, The Times reported, but it may be seized upon by his critics.

Foremost among these has been Red Bull star Max Verstappen’s father Jos, who has warned that the ongoing scandal was ‘driving the team apart’. Footage has emerged of the pair having an animated exchange at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Friday.

Following Max Verstappen’s victory in the season-opening race at the Bahrain Grand Prix, Verstappen’s father told The Daily Mail that “there is tension while he remains in position,” referring to Horner.

He added: “The team is in danger of being torn apart. It can’t go on the way it is. It will explode. He is playing the victim, when he is the one causing the problems.”

In a statement, regarding the mass email, Red Bull told CNN: “This is a private matter between Mr. Horner and another and it would be inappropriate for Red Bull to comment on this.”

, Horner reiterated that he denied allegations of wrongdoing following the release of the leaked messages.

In an interview with Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Jos Verstappen denied being the source behind the leaked messages.

“But why would I do that? Max has a contract with Red Bull until 2028, is performing great and feels at home here,” he said. “I have no interest in that at all.”
