SO SAD : the Georgia bulldogs coach have just received a brutal news from…..

We go back twenty-five years to 1999, the fourth season of Jim Donnan’s tenure as head coach of the Georgia football programme.

One possible explanation for his teams’ inability to bring home the bacon is that Donnan functioned as their own offensive coordinator. Something will have to give up when managing a sophisticated pro-style offence and serving as head coach at the same time.

Though Donnan’s offences weren’t the worst, one has to wonder if things might have gone differently for him if he had given the offence to someone else or at the very least trained a top coach to take over the offence a few years into his tenure, given some of the high-caliber talent he had.

Since he wasn’t truly an offensive coordinator, we’ll just remove him from the rankings and concentrate on the real offensive coordinators going forward. He was also the final head coach at Georgia to assume that dual role.

Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards recently put up impressive performances at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. Although some of Georgia’s running backs are playing well in anticipation of the draft, their departures leave a hole in the running back depth chart.

Earlier in the offseason, Kirby Smart and his staff filled that need by using the transfer channel to sign former Florida running back Trevor Etienne. The No. 2 running back in this year’s portal, Etienne, talked about his decision to transfer to Georgia on Tate Ratledge’s podcast, “Real Talker Player Podcast,” which is hosted by Georgia offensive lineman.

“To be honest, I was wondering if the positives outweighed the negatives. After moving to Florida two years ago, I went through the entire rebuilding process, which was still ongoing at the time. And I had the impression that there were a lot of unknowns, a lot of unresolved questions, and a lot of uncertainties in general.
