VERY SAD Daniel Ricciardo has officially announced his departure from the team because of…

24 February (Reuters) – Even though Visa Cash App RB is not a difficult term to pronounce, Daniel Ricciardo will not be taking any chances while announcing the new moniker of his Formula One team, which is owned by Red Bull.

The Italian team, which was previously known as Scuderia Toro Rosso and Minardi as well as AlphaTauri, will begin the season in Bahrain the following week. They will have new management, stronger ties to the reigning champion Red Bull, and a bold new look.

The Australian told Reuters on Saturday, “I know some people are saying, ‘That’s too long,’ and so on, but the reality is they are helping us go racing, so I am very happy to call it the full name.

I’ve already heard RB and whatever, and I know people will shorten it. You’ll hear me say “Visa Cash App RB,” but I’ll say “Do as you wish.”I’m positive that VCARB—the chassis name is VCARB01—is being mentioned, but that seems more like a Red Bull-type energy drink. That sounds a little off.”

The team’s moniker serves as a discussion point due to its unclear identity in the absence of title sponsors and the likelihood that it will receive more attention this year than it did in 2017 when it placed ninth overall.

On the opening day of testing on Wednesday, Ricciardo had the fourth-fastest time; on Thursday, he finished fifth.

RB, which stands for Racing Bulls, has previously been mentioned by some as a dark horse, but the Australian downplayed that.

Wearing a black tie and tuxedo, he stated, “We believe we can do better than eighth,” during a break in filming for the team’s Austrian Vodka sponsor, NEFT.

“We’re certainly not there yet if people are expecting an Aston Martin and Fernando Alonso (situation) from last year, and contending for a podium from race one.
