Important people in Formula 1 received documents this afternoon purportedly connected to the inquiry into Red Bull’s Christian Horner. This happened soon after Horner was cleared of all charges brought against him by a female employee.

Emails circulating among key figures in the Formula One (F1) community purportedly contained documents that were essential evidence in the Christian Horner probe.

Top F1 and FIA officials, team principals, and some media outlets were among the receivers of this leak, which begs the issue of why it was distributed.

Red Bull has not yet attested to the veracity of the disclosed records.

A mysterious leak of documents claimed to be tied to the investigation of Red Bull team principal, Christian Horner, have caused a stir on social media. This incident unfolded a day after Horner had been cleared of any misconduct allegations brought forth by a female employee, casting a shadow over the recent exoneration.

An unidentified person made the initiative to spread what they said were case-related papers. They used two email addresses that are no longer traceable to send a link to a Google Drive file containing these papers to a large list of over 100 important F1 officials. Numerous well-known figures were on this list, including the regulatory body FIA, key F1 management executives, current team principals, and members of the permanently accredited press.

For a short while, there have been rumours of conflicts within the Austrian team, which peaked during the 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix. In the last stages of the race, Verstappen defied orders from the team by not allowing Perez to pass him for reasons “he had already explained” to them.
