SO SAD:Ronnie O’Sullivan just announced that he will be living the team today due to…..

Legendary snooker player John Higgins witnessed the humorous side of having to back out of a shot when facing Anda Zhang in the Players Championship quarterfinal. When hail and pouring rain pelted the Telford International Arena in the third session, Higgins was tied at one.

Players and onlookers could hear the hit on the building’s roof since the storm was so strong. Higgins, 48, was setting up the cue ball at the table when the excessive noise started.

Higgins laughed and turned away from the table, duly looking up at the sky. To the amusement of the assembled gathering, he paused a couple more times after that.

The four-time world champion then cracked a joke that appeared to make the spectators and officials laugh even harder. As the rain began to fall, Higgins allegedly said on social media, “Feels like I’m back in Scotland there,” according to @DJ_Soleman.

The action had stood up in more serious situations earlier. In sharp contrast to the humorous wait that followed, medical personnel had to treat someone in the arena when Higgins was only 12-5 in the first frame.

Once the game was over, veteran Higgins wasn’t quite as happy as he was walking backstage. Zhang proceeded to win the fourth and subsequent frame to grab a 3-1 advantage.

When both players came back, the world No. 13 kept up his pace, quickly extending the lead to 5-1 and advancing to within a frame of the contest. The 32-year-old is a first-time participant in the ranking event.

Former opponent of Ronnie O’Sullivan Stephen Hendry has said that the Rocket doesn’t regard many other players on the circuit.

One of the best snooker players to ever take up a cue, O’Sullivan, 48, has dominated the game for several decades. However, his fiercest competitor Hendry claims that because of his supremacy, he “does not respect” other players.

At the Welsh Open, The Rocket, who has frequently expressed his disapproval of rival players, advised John Astley to think about starting a new career. Hendry stated on ITV: “I believe that Mark Selby views himself as Ronnie’s equal.
