Wisconsin’s Lawrence (WBAY) – After colliding with a ravine off Williams Grant Dr. in Lawrence on Thursday night, a 30-year-old guy from Green Bay passed away.
According to Hobart-Lawrence police, the collision was reported just after 8:30.
The single occupant of the SUV, the driver, was transported to a hospital but ultimately passed away from his injuries sustained in the collision. It is customary to delay his identification in order to give family members time to get word.
Police say that although the crash is still being investigated, it looks that the SUV lost control of it and entered the ravine on the north side of Williams Grant Drive without slowing down.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, Lawrence Fire Department, and De Pere all provided help to the Hobart-Lawrence police.
Green Bay, Wisconsin, was described as “about as lily white as I have ever seen” by an Atlanta radio DJ. In response, Claude Tiller Jr. said, “The lily on top of the lily.
Some Black Green Bay residents believe Tiller should have taken more time to consider his options while dealing with a school district that was experiencing racial changes. They also believe that Tiller was placed in a difficult situation.
Former NFL player Harry Sydney III, who now oversees a male mentoring programme in Green Bay, said on Thursday that Tiller contacted him following his hiring. But the two never took a seat down to converse.
Sydney, 64, stated, “If he had gotten me, I would have told him, ‘This is how you have to proceed.'” “You need to have other locals speak for you. You need to come up with an other way of saying what he’s saying, even though it might not have been incorrect. You cannot arrive and set off a grenade.
The WAOK-AM radio tape, in which Tiller was heard making reference to a female principal during a break from speaking on air, was made public by the Green Bay school district on Wednesday.
