After receiving his ninth Championship yellow card of the season during Birmingham City’s victory over Sunderland last weekend, Krystian Bielik is treading carefully when it comes to his discipline.
Bielik will serve a further two-match suspension if he receives a second caution in any of the Blues’ remaining five games. This season, Bielik has already missed four games due to suspension. Following the 37th Championship game of the season, players who have received 10 yellow cards will no longer be suspended under the terms of the second yellow card amnesty.

The Blues play Ipswich Town, Southampton, Hull, Millwall, and Middlesbrough in their final five games before the amnesty. Bielik needs to hold off on booking until after the Middlesbrough match on March 12 in order to avoid receiving his third ban of the year.

Although Bielik is the player most in danger, Jordan James, Jay Stansfield, and Juninho Bacuna should all exercise caution throughout the course of the next five games. Bacuna has received eight yellow cards and was suspended for the game against Southampton back in October. James and Stansfield each have seven.
