Five assistants’ contracts have been extended by Georgia, per an open records request that the Athens Banner-Herald’s Marc Weiszer was able to receive.
Contract extensions until 2026 were granted to defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach Glenn Schumann, as well as tight ends coach Todd Hartley.
The agreement with Schumann was renewed to June 30, 2026. This season, he will earn $1.9 million. This offseason, Schumann was interviewed by the Philadelphia Eagles to be their defensive coordinator, but he decided to stay in Athens.
He is the defensive assistant on Smart’s staff with the longest stay, having joined the programme in 2016.
In addition, Hartley’s contract was extended for a further two years, ending on June 30, 2026. With his $850,000 salary, Hartley will be the highest paid tight ends coach in the nation.
Coaches Dell McGee of running backs, Stacy Searels of offensive line and Chidera Uzo-Diribe of outside linebackers have all been granted one-year extensions that will expire on June 30, 2025. Uzo-Diribe will earn $500,000, Searels $750,000, and McGee $850,000. While McGee has been with Georgia since 2016, Searels and Uzo-Diribe are both in their second seasons on the show.
He gave Toronto 11 minutes off the bench, dropping 10 points on 4-for-5 shooting with four rebounds, a steal, and a block. He stuck the Raptors to a four-point lead midway through the fourth, picking off a bad pass from Ben Sheppard and laying it in. When the Pacers tried it up moments later, Boucher snagged an offensive rebound and put-back to give Toronto the late lead again.
He’s putting the work in. He’s great in playgroups. We had a great conversation the last couple of days of expectations from him. I still want more from him,” Raptors coach Darko Rajaković said. “I still want him to be more disciplined in some defensive execution there that we talked about during the game, and that’s going to be a great challenge for him going forward, how he can improve in those areas. But definitely Chris is a player that can step on the floor and help us.
