SO SAD: the Tottenham are in serious tears today due to….

Brennan Johnson’s injury-time goal gave Tottenham Hotspur a thrilling victory over Brighton in extra time.

With the victory, Spurs moved up to fourth position in the Premier League rankings, one point ahead of Aston Villa, who play on Sunday.

Tottenham players were spotted celebrating their comeback victory after the game, beaming with joy.

Cristian Romero, the centre defender, was shown enthusiastically celebrating Brennan Johnson with a strong backward kick in a fan video posted on the social media platform.

He brought down Danny Welbeck at about the 16-minute mark, which gave Brighton a penalty that Pascal Gross was able to score.

Van de Ven made a fantastic comeback and hasn’t messed up since then.

He made 10 recoveries for his team and prevailed in all of his aerial duels and tackles. His performance was essential to the Lilywhites winning all three points.

But what really won everyone over was what he accomplished in his full-time role.

When the final whistle blew, the Dutch defender was seen going to Brighton center-half Jan Paul van Hecke, a friend from his U21 team, to provide solace, while the rest of his colleagues celebrated their last-ditch victory.

Both players have a shared history, having played together and represented the Netherlands U21 team in the UEFA Under-21 Euro 2023, thus forging a strong bond.

A lot of people thought that Tottenham Hotspur would struggle hard after Harry Kane left for Bayern Munich. However, that hasn’t been the case at all. Ever since Ange Postecoglou’s arrival, the club has become a force to be reckoned with.

Moreover, all the young talent that the Greek-Australian player has stuffed his team with has already led people to look forward to the future. But, Harry Kane still seems to have regrets about his time at the organisation

He will go down as a legend of the club, unfortunately, he won’t be too high on that list because he won zero trophies during his time there. Despite being the best striker in the Premier League for a good period, he failed to lead his team to glory. Kane scored 278 goals and recorded 64 assists through 430 appearances for the Spurs.
