Josh Allen’s status on Thursday’s injury report has been upgraded to full participant.
Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Bills, appeared on the injury list this week, but he stated on Wednesday that he had “no concern” about his right shoulder.
However, Allen seemed to be fine for his on-field work on Thursday.
After Allen was limited in Wednesday’s report, Buffalo listed him as a full participant in Thursday’s practice. That puts Allen squarely on pace to play against the Patriots in Week 7, not that there was much doubt about it.
Dane Jackson, a cornerback, and Greg Rousseau, a defensive end, both improved from restricted to full participation.
Quintin Morris, the tight end, injured his ankle; Ed Oliver, the defensive tackle, injured his toe; and running back Damien Harris (neck/concussion) did not return to practice.
Defence back Cam Lewis (shoulder) and cornerback Kaiir Elam (ankle) were still limited.
The injury report for offensive tackle Spencer Brown (knee), defensive back A.J. Epenesa (quad), tight end Dawson Knox (wrist) and tight end Dalton Kincaid (concussion) was still complete.

After the Bills’ victory over the Giants, Josh Allen, the quarterback, downplayed his shoulder problem.
Even though Josh Allen and the Bills defeated the Giants on Sunday night by a slim margin, Allen wasn’t spared.
The quarterback for the Bills acknowledged following the game that he had been hurt in the first half, but he seemed to be fine by the end and even completed the game by throwing two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter.
Although Allen missed a large portion of the 2022 season due to an elbow injury, he hasn’t missed a start since his debut season in 2018. Even if Allen plays through the injury again, it’s still important to keep an eye on his health because he didn’t appear quite the same in the last moments.
Following the Bills’ “Sunday Night Football” triumph, here are the most recent updates on Allen’s condition.
Update on Josh Allen’s injury
Following Sunday’s victory, Allen acknowledged that he had sustained a shoulder injury in the second quarter.
He said the injury happened just one play before a concussion spotter took him out of the game. Allen had a bruised shoulder from the previous play, but he was soon cleared to return without showing any symptoms of a concussion.
Allen minimised the injury, though. “I played the entire second half,” he told reporters, declining to elaborate on his feelings. In the second half, Allen completed two throws for touchdowns.
Allen did undergo X-rays after the game, however. Coach Sean McDermott said all scans came back clean.
Given that Allen was able to complete the game on Sunday without displaying any overt symptoms of an injury, his availability moving forward doesn’t seem to be in question. After playing the Patriots in Foxborough in Week 7, the Bills will host the Buccaneers for “Thursday Night Football” four days later.
Nevertheless, it will be important to keep an eye on Allen’s practice situation all this week. Despite not missing any time due to his elbow injury from the previous season, it appeared to have an impact on him towards the end. The last thing the Bills need after an offensively unimpressive night is a limited quarterback.
