England’s Shaun Murphy remains a leading player in our sport, who has previously won the World Championship, UK Championship and Masters, during a distinguished career to date. Similarly, former British Open champion Nigel Bond has over 30-years’ experience as a professional on the World Snooker Tour and continues to compete at prestigious amateur tournaments, last season winning the English Over-55s Championship for the first time.
I have known both for many years and unquestionably they each bring a wealth of valuable experience from our sport to the team. I am looking forward to working with them on the many exciting projects that we have within the WPBSA Group and to the continued growth of snooker over the coming years.
