Joe Thomas, the former left tackle for the Browns, took note when Pro Football Hall of Fame officials informed him that he should keep his speech to seven to ten minutes during Saturday’s enshrinement ceremony.
When Thomas was visiting the Hall of Fame in March, he said, “The speech can’t be longer than five minutes because I know there’s going to be at least two minutes of crying that I won’t be able to talk at all.” “Seeing them involved will definitely take me a few extra minutes to finish my speech because I’m an emotional person.”
As the last speaker for this year’s inductees, Thomas has chosen his wife, Annie, and their four kids to present at the Canton Hall of Fame.
The Thomas children are Logan, 10, Camryn, 8, Jack, 6, and Reese, 4. There are three girls and one male.
