Injury Reports: Golden State Warriors vs. Brooklyn Nets, February …

On Monday, the Brooklyn Nets will play the Golden State Warriors. The two teams will play each other twice this season. When they played last on December 16, Golden State won 124–120. Steph Curry finished with three rebounds, three blocks, and 37 points. Cam Thomas led Brooklyn with 41 points and five rebounds.

The two clubs have split the last ten games, five each, with the Warriors leading the series all-time 57-41.

After losing to the Atlanta Hawks 141-134 in overtime on Saturday, Golden State is reeling. Curry scored sixty points, but with minimal assistance from the other players on the squad, it wasn’t enough. The Warriors have a 21–25 record, which places them 12th in the West.

On Saturday, Brooklyn beat the Philadelphia 76ers 136–121. Thomas finished with 40 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists. 11th in the Eastern Conference are the Nets (20-28).

Brooklyn Nets vs. Golden State Warriors injury updates
Due of the injuries to important players, the Warriors have been deficient at the guard position. Moses Moody (strained left calf), Chris Paul (broken left hand), and Gary Payton II (hamstring) have all lost a lot of time.

Ben Simmons has often appeared in Brooklyn’s injury updates. He had a back injury on November 8 and missed 38 straight games until January 27. He did play again on January 29 against the Utah Jazz, but he still misses games on a rotating basis to take care of his back problem.

Injury report for the Golden State Warriors on February 5, 2024
The Golden State Warriors are still without Chris Paul and Gary Payton II. Due to a painful left ankle he suffered during Golden State’s match versus Atlanta, Andrew Wiggins is questionable. Dario Saric is most likely unwell. But Moses Moody, who has missed nine games in a row, is finally off the injured report.

When will Chris Paul be back?
On January 31, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reported that Chris Paul would undergo another evaluation in two weeks. Paul’s earliest possible comeback date is February 15 against the Utah Jazz. That is extremely improbable, though, as Paul is anticipated to return during the All-Star break.

Before the injury, he averaged 8.9 points, 7.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 32 games for the Golden State Warriors.

When will Ben Simmons be back?
Simmons’ therapy seemed to have progressed past its tiresome phase. On January 29, he made his comeback against the Utah Jazz. As he recovers from his back ailment, he continues to miss games on alternating days. Simmons is out against the Warriors, but he should be back forTuesday’s matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and the Dallas Mavericks.
