This is so amazing to receive from the Cleveland browns team as their congratulate Myles Garrett to his relationship with his fiance named…..

I’m not (interested) at this point,” Thomas told cleveland.com Friday in a text response. “I won’t be interested in NFL or college jobs until my kid are in college. Maybe not even then, but certainly not until then.”

Thomas and his wife, Annie, have four grade-school age children, which is a major reason they’re in Munich right now. Annie’s family of origin, including two siblings, lived in England when she was in second grade for her dad’s job, and it was one of their most memorable times.

“It was just us,” she said before Hall of Fame festivities last summer. “It’s such an amazing experience. We traveled a lot when we were over there and I’ve always been very vocal that it was just so wonderful. My sisters have the same feelings, and so Joe has always said that he wants to experience that with our family.”

The Browns, meanwhile, will go through the normal process of interviewing candidates for Callahan’s job.

Even though he was under contract through next season, the Browns permitted him to join his son as offensive line coach in Tennessee. It’s a big pair of shoes for the Browns to fill, but they won’t have a lack of interest in the job.

Callahan’s departure is the latest in an overhaul of the offensive staff. The Browns also parted ways with offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt, running backs coach Stump Mitchell, and tight ends coach T.C. McCartney.

They were replaced by former Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, former Panthers running backs coach Duce Staley, and former Alabama offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Tommy Rees.

Van Pelt was hired by the Patriots as their offensive coordinator under new head coach Jerod Mayo. Kevin Stefanski is still determining whether or not to turn the play-calling over to Dorsey for the first time in his five seasons here.

As for Thomas, an NFL Network analyst, he’s remained an integral part of the Browns as a member of their broadcast contingent, including serving as the color analyst on preseason games. He’s also been around the offensive linemen enough to make his mark on young tackles such as Jedrick Wills Jr. and fourth-round pick Dawand Jones.
