Fans in the area are getting excited about football as they prepare for the playoffs.

The Erie News Now crew spoke with a few ardent football fans to get their opinions on the forthcoming games.

Due to its close proximity to several NFL teams, Warren County has a diversified fan base. Fans of the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cleveland Browns, among others, are preparing for an exciting postseason campaign.

This is as local as it gets, as you can see by the fact that we are two hours from Buffalo, three hours from Pittsburgh, and three hours from Cleveland,” stated John Anderson, President of Anderson Construction. “Winning for the Browns would be nice.”

“When people ask me why I support the Bills, I tell them that they are the team that is closest to Warren in terms of mileage,” said Michael Boyd, office manager at Burns & Burns Insurance. “Yet I think that Bills supporters are always proud because we’re just crazy and we’re going to wear our Bills gear even during the bad years.
