California’s Sacramento (AP) — The Sacramento Kings ended a four-game losing streak on Monday night by defeating the Atlanta Hawks, 122-107, behind 32 points from Harrison Barnes.

Mike Brown, the coach of the Kings, stated, “I thought he was pretty aggressive.” He scored tonight in a number of different spots of the floor. Seeing that was a lot of joy.

Guard Trae Young, an All-Star, missed the Hawks’ game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday due to a concussion.

Barnes had not hit thirty points in a game this season until his 33-point performance against the Utah Jazz on opening night.

“During the course of the game, we essentially called his number three or four times, or went to him three or four times, and good things happened almost every time he touched the ball,” Brown remarked. “He was very effective offensively throughout the entire game.

Domantas Sabonis tied Oscar Robertson for the second-longest double-double streak in franchise history with his 25th straight double-double of 14 points and 21 rebounds. With 29 straight wins, Robertson holds the record.

Malik Monk scored 13 points and dished out eight assists, while Keegan Murray contributed 13. 12 was De’Aaron Fox’s score.

Dejounte Murray led Atlanta with 35 points and ten rebounds. Clint Capela recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds, while Bogdan Bogdanovic scored eighteen.

We had a few favourable openings. There was a brief period when the ball just didn’t go in. “We persevered and continued to fight,” Hawks head coach Quin Snyder stated. “These are the kinds of performances that you can build on, even though it’s obviously not the outcome you want.”

Sacramento led 57–40 at the half after outscoring Atlanta 30–16 in the second quarter. With a season-low 40 points in the first half, the Hawks shot a meagre 38.7% overall.

Murray stated, “We missed great looks and great shots.” That essentially sums up the game. We create, say, four of those attractive appearances, and the result is different.

Early in the third quarter, the Kings extended their lead to 66-42, but Atlanta rallied with a 16-2 run to pull within ten.

Sacramento increased its lead to 87-66 late in the third quarter with a 13-2 run.

They made their run in the game of runs that is basketball, according to Monk. “When a team scores a run, we usually give up and allow them to come back into the game.” We refused to give up. We eventually concluded the game the way it should have been played by keeping a foot on their necks tonight.

The Kings’ bench scored 43-19 points more than Atlanta’s, and Sacramento ended up leading 56-40 in the paint.
