GOOD NEWS: Fans are excited as the 49ers make a playoff comeback against the Packers because to
Despite having a difficult game on Saturday night, Brock Purdy gave it his all in the end to help the San Francisco 49ers defeat the Green Bay Packers 24-21 at Levi’s Stadium in an NFC Divisional stage matchup.
After the 49ers fell down 21-14 in the third quarter, Purdy led a perfect touchdown drive in the fourth quarter to send the team to its third straight NFC Championship game.
Purdy led the 49ers down the field with help from wide outs Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings.
With only 1:07 left in the game, star running back Christian McCaffrey secured the game-winning score with a six-yard touchdown run that marked the culmination of the drive.
Purdy finished the game with 23 of 39 passes completed for 252 yards and one score in addition to 14 yards of running.
Perhaps San Francisco’s best player, McCaffrey, added 98 running yards and two touchdowns along with seven catches for thirty yards.
NFL fans were quick to commend Purdy for his tenacity after the win, calling the drive a “legacy drive” in spite of his difficult performance:

NFL Fans Make Fun of Jordan Love’s Last-Minute Pick as the Packers Fall to the 49ers in the Playoffs
The Green Bay Packers lost 24-21 to the San Francisco 49ers after Jordan Love’s interception in the final seconds crushed any dreams of a late comeback.
The Packers are currently out of the playoffs as a result of the defeat. The Packers led 21-14 entering the fourth quarter, despite a great effort against the NFC’s top-seeded club.
Unfortunately, San Francisco won the game thanks to a 10-point spurt by the 49ers after rookie kicker Anders Carlson missed a field goal.
Love had a chance to give the Packers the lead or tie the score in the closing seconds of the game. That dreams of a comeback ended, however, when linebacker Dre Greenlaw intercepted his long throw over his body.
The 25-year-old quarterback gained 194 yards and two touchdowns on 61.8 percent of his throws, with two interceptions.
Commentators and fans were perplexed and disappointed by Love’s choice during the game’s pivotal last drive.
It is possible to see Green Bay’s 2023 season as a success despite the depressing outcome.
The Packers earned a postseason berth in Love’s first season as a full-time starter, and they even defeated the Dallas Cowboys, the second-seeded team, in the wild-card round. Though the season came to an unfortunate conclusion, Green Bay feels optimistic about the future.
