GOOD NEWS :49ers’ Kyle Shanahan toss forth contradicting injury signals

The San  Francisco 49ers defeated the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round, although with an unattractive victory. While it wasn’t a very strong game, San Francisco prevailed by making the necessary saves and capitalising on a decisive drive.

The fact that the 49ers played most of the game without Deebo Samuel because of injury is what makes the victory remarkable. The 49ers’ top wide receiver missed the game in the first half due to a shoulder injury. Samuel would ultimately be declared fully ineligible for the match. The victory has supporters clearly concerned about Samuel’s availability for next week’s games.

Well, there are differing accounts of this. According to Kyle Shanahan’s post-game statement, Deebo Samuel’s injury was comparable to one he sustained throughout the season. According to Nick Wagoner, the 49ers standout would wind up missing two games as a result of the injury.

“Coach of the 49ers Kyle Shanahan was not immediately aware of the extent of wide receiver Deebo Samuel’s left shoulder injury. Nonetheless, he said that it was comparable to Cleveland in that Samuel attempted to reenter but was unsuccessful. Samuel’s injury kept him out of two games, but he was able to return after the bye. But because that one had a hairline fracture, it’s unclear whether they are the same.

Deebo Samuel, who has assured teammates that he is OK, may be able to play in the NFC Championship game, according to Adam Schefter’s source. 49ers supporters are going through a difficult moment.

Although it wasn’t nice, quarterback Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers were able to prevail against the Green Bay Packers in their divisional-round playoff game on Saturday.

While Purdy only managed to throw one touchdown and 252 yards for the 49ers, he was instrumental in a fourth-quarter 69-yard drive that saw All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey of San Francisco hit the end zone to give the club a lead with just under a minute left in the contest.

After the game, Purdy earned a lot of internet appreciation for saving his team’s bacon in the fourth quarter. The 49ers ultimately triumphed 24-21 on Saturday night at home.

However, not everyone was pleased with what the San Francisco quarterback performed against the Packers. Nick Wright of FS1 was among those who voiced some of their opinions on Twitter.

Wright wrote, “Honest to god, if that’s all you learned from this game, I seriously doubt your ability to watch, analyse, and discuss football in a coherent manner.”

David Lombardi of The Athletic said, “Brock Purdy answered every single doubt and criticism by delivering a comeback playoff drive that has immediately become part of 49ers legend.” To which this was a reaction.

It’s probable that Purdy would be the first to acknowledge that, in his brief NFL career, his performance on Saturday wasn’t the greatest.

However, the NFL playoffs are a different beast altogether, with fewer games featuring impressive stat lines.

The second-year quarterback’s ability to perform well for his team when the 49ers needed him most was what won Purdy accolades against the Packers.

Purdy completed 6-of-7 passes for 47 yards on the fourth-quarter touchdown drive. He also gained an additional 11 yards on the ground on two running tries.

Wright hinted to Purdy’s lacklustre performance in his tweet, but ultimately it didn’t matter since the San Francisco quarterback was able to lead his side to victory.
