Before his team’s Divisional Round playoff matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, tight end Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs referred to Highmark Stadium as a “hostile environment”. A Bills lineman wishes Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs luck in the AFC Divisional Round.

In the NFL Playoffs, the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs will square off once again. The two clubs’ playoff games have been legendary for the last several years, and Sunday’s Divisional Round meeting could be no exception.

This time, however, things will be different for a very important reason. The Kansas City stadium, Arrowhead Stadium, will not host the event. Rather, Western New York becomes the new location. This year’s game will take place at Highmark Stadium, reversing the usual flow of events. The clubs have played in the playoffs twice before, both times in Kansas City.

Dion Dawkins, a buffalo tackle, is cognizant of the variations in surroundings. Dawkins took great pride in the fact that Buffalo is home to the game and Highmark Stadium. He then sent his best wishes for “good luck” to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Dawkins said, “Mahomes has only been here once,” according to ESPN.com. He has never been here, then. As easy as that. Pat has never visited the Bills stadium in its entirety.

“The stadium is in our favour, but the atmosphere will be different—not that it’s in our favour. We are the stadium. That is beneficial to us. It doesn’t matter what others think. I have never had a more dope sensation than I do now. We have two consecutive home playoff games. Come on, act like we’re about to go out and get some wings. It’s awesome. So, best of luck.

This weekend could be another exciting round of this rivalry.
