In Week 18 against the Los Angeles Rams, head coach Kyle Shanahan of the 49ers had to start playing starters due to the team’s 53-man roster having several injuries. Against the Rams, defensive end Clelin Ferrell hurt his knee and had to be helped off the pitch.

Ferrell did not take part in this week’s practice. The 49ers announced their injury report on Thursday night, and it states that the former first-round selection at pass rusher will not play against the Packers on Sunday.
There should be more snaps for Chase Young against the Packers.

When facing the suddenly hot Packers quarterback Jordan Love, the 49ers will miss Ferrell’s pass-rushing ability. This season, Ferrell has tallied 3.5 sacks. With Ferrell down, the 49ers will look on Chase Young, whom they acquired in the midseason, to shoulder a larger portion of the defensive burden against the Packers.
One more 49ers player was listed as having a destination for the game on Saturday. Dre Greenlaw, a linebacker, is doubtful to play against the Packers after suffering an Achilles injury on Wednesday and Thursday.

This would be the year, if ever there was one, for a non-quarterback to win the NFL MVP award.
Josh Allen threw 18 interceptions, Lamar Jackson was excellent but not nearly as spectacular as when he won the award in 2019, Dak Prescott and Brock Purdy had some bad moments.
Then there is Christian McCaffrey, who finished first in the league in running yards, scored 21 touchdowns, and hardly missed a beat when the 49ers won the NFC title and advanced to the postseason.
Sportsbooks rank McCaffrey as the sixth favourite for the MVP award, thus he’s an outsider to become the first non-quarterback to earn the honour since Adrian Peterson in 2012.
However, McCaffrey’s inclusion in the conversation is a credit to his influence this year and his extraordinary consistency.

After being engaged in April of last year, the pair has been together nonstop. Culpo sent a heartfelt ode to her fiancée on her Instagram story.
“We made every effort to keep this a secret as long as we could, but word gets around,” she said. “I’m getting married to my best friend.”
Occasionally, the lifestyle that accompanies being a well-known professional athlete engaged to a well-known model is seen.
He appeared with Culpo on the red carpet for the NFL Honours ceremony in February of last year, and in July of the same year, Dolce & Gabbana dressed them both for an Italian fashion show.

Furthermore, McCaffrey is obviously a family guy since, in the last year, he has shared Mother’s Day and Father’s Day tributes to his parents.
His father Ed and mother Lisa met while playing football and soccer, respectively, at Stanford, which is also his alma school.
McCaffrey has obviously acquired the family genes; his maternal grandpa, David Sime, was also an Olympic sprinter.
This Saturday, he will want to build on his success against the Packers, who surprised everyone by defeating the Cowboys at home in the first round.

Still, McCaffrey is playing at the top of his game, Purdy is perfectly healthy, and San Francisco won’t have to go outside of its home stadium until the Super Bowl—that is, assuming they can make it there.
In his sixth season, the running back may not have a better opportunity to win a Super Bowl.
Therefore, don’t be shocked if he simply goes out and does it with the support of a formidable defence, astute coach Kyle Shanahan, and maybe the finest bunch of pass catchers in the league.
