Ronnie O’Sullivan, successful at snooker, is’struggling’ and ‘not getting any happiness’.

Even though Ronnie O’Sullivan won his eighth Masters championship last week, he said that he is now “not getting any enjoyment” from his snooker. The British driver advanced to the World Grand Prix quarterfinals on Thursday, but despite his triumph, he is dissatisfied with his own performance, and he has resumed talking about retiring.

O’Sullivan defeated Zhou Yuelong 4-3 in Leicester, continuing his outstanding run. Breaks of 67, 107, 50, and 90 contributed to the win. The 48-year-old, who has now won 11 straight games, is one victory away from winning his third Grand Prix championship.

Even still, O’Sullivan was not at all happy with his play, even with the victory. Rather, the world No. 1 openly questioned if now would be a good moment for him to retire and disclosed that he is typically uncomfortable competing.

“At the very least, I need a break. This is not new; it has been going on for twenty-five or thirty years. It’s difficult. The worst part is that I’m also succeeding in bloody competitions.
