Super Bowl Champion San Francisco 49ers Are Likely To Miss Out Against Green Bay Packers…

The NFL Divisional Round matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night will put everything on the line. With a spot in the NFC Championship game on the line, it will be a fight to the death.

The Niners are seen as the favourites to win this much-anticipated matchup after concluding the season with a 12-5 record. On Saturday, however, they could be missing many important players, including a cornerback who has won two Super Bowls.

ESPN’s 49ers beat writer Nick Wagoner reports that Ryan’s groyne ailment prevented him from practicing on Tuesday. In San Francisco’s last regular season game, a 21-20 defeat to the Los Angeles Rams, the 32-year-old played a season-high 62 plays. It is yet unknown when or where he took the hit.

Ryan’s good news is that he still has Wednesday and Thursday free to attempt to get in a practice run before the big game on Saturday. But as of right now, it’s possible that the former star player for Rutgers may have to miss out on the Packers game.

It’s important to note that Trent Williams (vet day), LB Dre Greenlaw (Achilles), and DE Clein Ferrell (knee) missed practice on Tuesday for the Niners as well. There were just two participants: S George Odum (biceps) and DT Arik Armstead (foot, knee).

But if you ask Ryan himself, it seems like he’s eager about the Packers game. Tuesday night, he posted a teaser on Twitter about his impending playoff debut with the Niners:
