University of Michigan product Long Jr. (5-11, 196), a fifth-year player, is back with the Packers. Following his December 5 waiver claim from the Carolina Panthers, he appeared in three games for Green Bay. The Los Angeles Rams initially picked Long in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft (with pick No. 79 overall).

Ellis Merriweather, a rookie running back, is another member of the Packers practice squad. The Packers will have Aaron Jones, Patrick Taylor, and Emanuel Wilson on the 53-man roster ready to face the Cowboys if Dillon is not available on Sunday.

The Cowboys had a major surprise on their injury report on Friday when they classified quarterback Cooper Rush as questionable to face the Packers due to an illness. The Packers have numerous important players questionable or doubtful to play the Cowboys.
