Charles Barkley Says 1 NBA Team Is In ‘Serious Trouble’

On Thursday night, the Los Angeles Lakers suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of the Phoenix Suns.

Although a team’s performance in the regular season isn’t always indicative of trouble, Charles Barkley expressed his worries about the Lakers.

During an NBA on TNT programme, Barkley said, “The Lakers are in serious trouble.”

The Lakers’ record dropped to 19-20 as a result of this defeat, placing them in 10th place in the Western Conference.

They trail the Suns and Houston Rockets and are just ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis together on the same team seems like a winning combination, but the Lakers haven’t experienced that up to this point in the season.

This club has a record of about.500 since they haven’t been able to put together for a significant run of victories.

The Lakers “wait and think they can turn it on” later in the season, according to Kenny Smith’s further statement.

Smith notes that while James and the Lakers seem unbeatable throughout the playoffs, they always appear to stutter in the semifinals.

He, along with the whole NBA squad on TNT, is worried about the club’s mindset so far this season.

If they don’t take precautions, they could not make the playoffs in the next weeks and will have to make a last-minute drive to win the championship.

Can the Lakers, for the remainder of the regular season, rekindle their playoff fervour?
