news today ;Skip Bayless has a harsh message for Aaron Rodgers…

Despite leaving the NFC North, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers continues to mock the Chicago Bears.

So, with the Green Bay Packers’ playoff hopes on the line, Rodgers took a moment to remind everyone how brilliant his previous team has been against their division opponent.

Rodgers, on the other hand, spoke as if he was still with the Packers, referring to the team as “we” – either by accident or in jest.

That irritated Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless, who quickly corrected Rodgers’ error and reminded him that the Packers are no longer Rodgers’ team.

“You are no longer part of a ‘we.’ “This is Jordan Love’s team,” stated Bayless. “You are no longer a member of the Packers. You were never as well-liked in the locker room as Jordan is now.”

Bayless’ statements are harsh on Rodgers, who has led the Packers to the playoffs in 12 of his 18 seasons in Green Bay and won a Super Bowl with them in 2010-11.

However, Bayless may be referring to what happened on this club over the past few years when Rodgers grumbled about the quality of the squad and expressly requested players be added – much like he’s done in New York since being traded there this offseason.

Despite Rodgers’ numerous personal accomplishments during his stint in Green Bay, Bayless claims that the team has rallied behind Love faster and more tightly than it did around Rodgers.

Bayless’ comments are harsh on Rodgers, who has led the Packers to the playoffs in 12 of his 18 seasons in Green Bay, including a Super Bowl victory in 2010-11.

However, Bayless may be referring to what transpired on this team in recent years when Rodgers complained about the team’s quality and specifically asked players be added – much like he’s done in New York since being traded there this offseason.

Despite Rodgers’ significant personal triumphs during his time in Green Bay, Bayless argues that the squad gathered behind Love more quickly and tightly than it did around Rodgers.

Packers Fans Rally Against the NFL Over Jordan Love’s Pro Bowl Exclusion

That’s why several Packers supporters turned to Twitter to blast the NFL for passing him up, despite the fact that his numbers should’ve been more than enough to garner him the nod.

The Denver Broncos were formally eliminated from postseason contention last week, and all eyes will now be on the front office as they attempt to repair a roster that they hoped would be better this season.

The Broncos, led by head coach Sean Payton, entered the 2023 NFL season with high expectations, but a sluggish start nearly ruined their Super Bowl dreams from the start.

AD Denver eventually rallied in the middle of the season, but everything fell apart nearly quickly after their winning streak ended.

However, the club has remained in the news with the contentious decision to sideline Russell Wilson before the completion of the regular season.

Wilson’s recent problems were a reasonable reason to bench him, but reports surfaced that the team was punishing him for failing to defer the injury guarantee date in his contract.

Many believe Wilson’s days as a starting are over, but Mike Golic believes the former Super Bowl MVP can still lead a club through GoJo and Golic.

“While the franchise may choose a rookie quarterback and claim to be preparing for the future, I couldn’t care less. “I need to see Russell Wilson right now because I want to win,” Golic said.

Last Monday, the Denver Broncos were formally removed from postseason contention, and all eyes will now be on the front office as they strive to fix a squad that they anticipated would be better this season.

The Broncos, led by head coach Sean Payton, entered the 2023 NFL season with high hopes, but a sluggish start threatened to derail their Super Bowl plans from the outset.

AD Denver eventually came back in the middle of the season, but everything fell apart almost immediately after their winning streak stopped.

However, the team has remained in the spotlight due to the contentious decision to bench Russell Wilson before the end of the regular season.

Wilson’s recent issues were a valid reason to sit him, but reports circulated that the team was penalising him for failing to defer his contract’s injury guarantee deadline.

Many believe Wilson’s days as a starting quarterback are finished, but Mike Golic believes Wilson can still lead a team through GoJo and Golic.

“While the franchise may choose a rookie quarterback and claim to be preparing for the future, I couldn’t care less. I need to see Russell Wilson right now because I want to win,” Golic stated.

Unfortunately for him, several of those landing positions may be filled, since the impending 2024 NFL Draft class has numerous franchise-worthy quarterback prospects.
