After he ended his loan at Dundee this week, Owen Beck received two offers from Liverpool right away. The left-back is not leaving.
This was published in The Times. They say that after it was announced that Liverpool would be ending Owen Beck’s loan at Dundee, he received approaches for the player from both Celtic and Rangers.
This week, the left-back returned to Merseyside as the Reds expanded their options at the position. Beck can now fill in for Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson, who are both absent.
After a very strong run with Dundee, Beck does so. The two biggest Scottish football clubs have shown interest in him as a result of his consistent eye-catching play throughout the season. That is truly the best evidence of his accomplishment.
Rangers were only hoping to sign Beck on loan for the remainder of the season as their new first-choice left-back, but Celtic wanted to sign him permanently. However, Liverpool rejected the ideas and didn’t consider either option.
Rather, Beck will stay at Anfield. Although Robertson might not be prepared for regular first-team football until well into February, he is anticipated to return in late January. Well into the following month, Tsimikas will be absent.
Beck should therefore play in his preferred position for a few minutes. He is expected to be included in the squad for Sunday’s FA Cup match against Arsenal; he might even start.

However, the 21-year-old was sent back early from his loan at the beginning of this month after failing to find the form that had all the top Premier League clubs putting out the red carpet for him just a few years ago.
He will probably now spend the rest of the season on loan at Fulham, per Sport Bild. Carvalho may return to Craven Cottage, having only left in 2022 following his graduation from their academy and first-team debut.
Although reports this week suggest that Klopp has not given up on the midfielder despite his miserable spell at Leipzig, where he was limited to substitute appearances and failed to record a single goal or assist, the Liverpool manager will be hoping that the familiar surroundings will help the player regain his form.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool plans to send him back out on loan during the January transfer window. Southampton and other Premier League and Championship teams are rumored to be interested in his services.
