Tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce opened up about his New Year’s Eve celebrations with girlfriend Taylor Swift.

On New Year’s Eve, Swift was at Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Chiefs play the Cincinnati Bengals at home. Swift witnessed Kansas City defeat Cincinnati 25-17 to win the AFC West for the eighth time in a row. It was her ninth game of the season.

On the most recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Kelce said, “I think I had over 50 to 55 people come in for this one – a good New Year’s celebration.” According to The Kansas City Star, Kelce and Swift spent a portion of the evening at The American Restaurant in Kansas City, where other guests included Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany.

Kelce claimed to have received a unique gift from his mother Donna, but he was unable to reveal its contents.

“I had the opportunity to trade gifts with my mother,” Kelce said to his brother Jason. One of the gifts is that some things are still being made just for you, so I can’t tell you what I got, but it’s amazing. You will adore this present.

Swift and Kelce also shared a Christmas together, with the pop icon going to the Chiefs’ game against the Raiders in Las Vegas with her brother Austin, who dressed like Santa Claus and even gave Kelce a gift “straight out of the bag.”

Austin gave Kelce “a VHS of my favorite football movie of all time,” according to Kelce.

Swift made his way to Arrowhead Stadium by himself to witness the Chiefs defeat the Bengals. Despite being limited to three receptions for 16 yards by Kelce, Harrison Butker’s five field goals allowed Kansas City to win comfortably.

The 12-time Grammy Award winner and eight-time Pro Bowler started dating earlier this season and quickly rose to the top of the pop culture gossip heap. It seems that their relationship will only get better in the coming year.
